Overview

Download the Presentation as a PDF

I hope to place learning disorders in the context of Childhood Development  and in the context of school failure. By first understanding the basis for learning disorders neuropsychologically and pedagogically, the presentation of LDs early on should become evident. Interventions to mitigate these problems will be discussed.

Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Know the definitions of learning disorders
  • Learn practical methods for discerning the signs of evolving learning disorders
  • Discuss possible practical interventions and preventions for the family practitioner
