As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
Recognize geriatric syndromes frequently associated with congestive heart failure as well as their impact on disease course and management
Identify opportunities to engage caregivers, other health professionals and available community resources to improve the quality of life of older individuals with heart failure
Apply available knowledge to optimize the care of older individuals with heart failure in inpatient and outpatient settings
