In the past 2 years allergy practice has changed significantly.  Infant feeding reconmmendations continue to change. New evidence suggests that early introudction of complex foods is important but practical aspects of this introduction is often poorly explained.  Helping families begin safe introduction of foods early in life will reduce risk of life long food allergy.  Children with early sensitization may also benefit from rapid intervention to eliminate allergies in young children.

Also new to the field is the approach to children with "rule out" medication allergy.  Delabeling of children early reduces the possibilitiy of persistent misdiagnosis later in life.
