Dr. Teltscher graduated McGill medical school in 2004 with a Graduate studies degree in Epidemiology and Health. He completed internal medicine, infectious diseases and medical microbiology residencies at McGill. Thereafter, he worked at the Lachine hospital and MUHC during that hospital’s transition into the MUHC network. At that time he also acted as the Program Director for the McGill Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology Residency Training Program. He is now on staff at the Jewish General Hospital where he is the director of the JGH infectious diseases walk in clinic and medical lead for the Joint Antimicrobial Stewardship Program of the CIUSSS-CO-Montreal. Upon returning to the JGH he also assumed responsibilities for Fecal Microbiota Transplant program to address recurrent refractory C difficile infection.
