Dr. Christina Greenaway is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University, a Member of the Divisions of Infectious Diseases and Laboratory Medicine at the Jewish General Hospital, Principle Investigator at the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Community Studies of the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research and staff physician at the JD Maclean Tropical Medicine Center at McGill. Her research program has focused on identifying and addressing the infectious disease health disparities among migrants with an overall objective to promote the health of the migrant population. She has conducted observational studies, retrospective cohort studies with large linked administrative datasets, systematic reviews, economic analyses and have developed screening and clinical guidelines for migrants in Canada and Europe using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) methodology. 

Since the beginning of  the COVID-19 crisis she has been involved with providing clinical care for COVID-19 patients, helped develop COVID-19 management treatment guidelines at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) and has been instrumental in launching several COVID related  clincal trials at the JGH .   She and Marina Klein (MUHC) were named co-directors of the McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (Mi4) Clinical Research Platform (Mi4-CRP).  The primary aim of this Platform was to rapidly develop infrastructure to support world class investigator-initiated and industry sponsored studies and to promote collaborative efforts between the JGH and the MUHC in order to contribute to global research efforts to address COVID-19 immediately and offer therapeutic options to our patients. Since March a clincal research platform has been been established both at the JGH and the MUHC and several COVID-19 therapeutic clinical trials and COVID related clinical research projects have been launched and are running at both sites.
