Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify which patients with a.fib require anti-coagulation
  • Know how to interrupt anti-coagulation for elective procedures
  • Choose between rate vs. rhythm control
  • Determine which patients should be on both anti-platelets and anti-coagulants
