Dr. Daniel Lalla is a family physician in a rural clinic and hospital setting and has a particular interest in Tekenedicine and incorporating practical applications of technology in daily medical practice and education. He is director of the rural education site for medical students and Family Medicine residents at Cowansville and member of the Post Graduate Education Committee for the Annual McGill Refresher Course where he has been a plenary speaker and workshop educator for 15 years. He has also done small group and personal teaching with relation to various aspects of computing in medicine.Topics have included practical computing, handheld devices, navigating the medical internet, and discussion of important aspects of electronic health records.
