Dr. Rohan has devoted his career to clinical practice and academic leadership in Family Medicine at McGil University. He was Associate Dean of CPD at the Faculty of Medicine McGill university, focusing on promoting the depth of the McGill programs offered, including distance learning. Since 1997, he has been a Course Director of the McGill Refresher Course for Family Physicians. Always a strong advocate of life-long learning, he has been instrumental in numerous continuing education projects at McGill, with other universities and with the Collège des médecins du Québec.. In addition to his teaching responsibilities in the Department of Family Medicine and at St. Mary’s Hospital Center, Dr. Rohan made use of his extensive training in sports medicine he was an Assistant Professor in the Exercise Science Department at Concordia University. With over 30 years of experience in geriatric medicine, he also serves as a treating physician at the Centre d'hébergement et de soins de longue durée de Father-Dowd, which offers long-term care services to the elderly. He is presently Director of the CME Division for the Department of Family Medicine.
